War of the Ring: Lords of Middle-earth (Expansion)

'' War of the Ring (2ed): Lords of Middle-earth'' is an expansion of the strategy board game " War of the Ring (2ed):".

What if the Elven Ring Keepers had used their Rings of Power to challenge the Dark Lord's power? What if the Balrog had risen from Moria to bring fire and fury to the lands of the free peoples? What if the Council of Elrond had decided differently for the Fellowship of the Ring?

With Lords of Middle-earth, the first expansion for the War of the Ring (Second Edition) board game, players can explore these different scenarios along with many others to create new gameplay opportunities and new strategies.

Important personalities that were previously only shown with event cards in the game are represented with special numbers and rules. New characters include Elrond, Galadriel, Smeagol, Gothmog and the mighty Balrog of Moria, as well as alternate versions of Gandalf, the Witch-king and Sauron.

New special Action Dice included: Elven Ring Keepers dice for the Free Peoples player and Little Minion dice for the Shadow player. New versions of all the members of the ring are also included to fulfill the optional "Council of Rivendell" rules.

As an added bonus, Aragorn and Gandalf the White figures are included, the in-game accessories that fans have been waiting for!
