Unfathomable

In the depths of the Atlantic Ocean lurks an evil, unspeakable horror: the Deep Ones, led by Mother Hydra and Father Dagon. For reasons unknown, they have set their sights on the Atlantica, and their minions, who take the form of human Deep One hybrids, have infiltrated the steamship to help sink it from the inside. Every game of Unfathomable has one or more players taking on one of these hybrid roles, and how well they can stealthily sabotage other players' efforts can mean the difference between a successful voyage and a sinking ship.

As a normal human, you have to be careful not to let the Deep Ones do too much damage to the Atlantica, and carefully manage the ship's four essential resources if you want to make it to Boston safe and sound. At the same time, you will have to try to find out which of the other players are friends and which are enemies. Everyone has a common pool of resources, but people will try to preserve them, and traitors will try to refine them. Being able to tell when someone is purposefully wasting group resources is harder than you think, especially when you factor in crises!

The game is based on a similar principle as the popular "Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game" (2008) But of course you will no longer be in space, but in the middle of the ocean in 1913.
