This War of Mine: Tales from the Ruined City (Expansion)

There is no end to the war. Its victims number in the thousands, and every day we lose hope little by little. Food is running out and our shelter is falling apart - yet we keep fighting.

New faces can be seen around the city: the friendly faces in the makeshift market or in the neighboring houses, in the hostile night with the blinding flash and sticks and knives. We find new ways to move through the ruins - sometimes even underground - just to avoid sniper fire and loot everything of value. It's never much, yet we keep fighting. We have no other choice.

This War of Mine: Tales from the Ruined City is the first expansion of This War of Mine : The Board Game - a story-filled survival game in a war-torn city.

The expansion offers a series of game modules to enrich the base game:

- Emira is the 13th character with a personal origin; you can add him to any party
- Desperate Event cards give you a bonus whenever you lose someone from your party
- Farmers module has a market where your choices affect how people perceive you; it also gives you a chance to interact with people outside the city
- The sewers are full of unknown dangers and an exciting narrative, giving you opportunities for additional cleanups
- Five scenarios offer many hours of exciting gameplay; Each has unique rules and components, and winning one gives you access to a reward envelope with special legacy content
