Tekhenu: Obelisk of the Sun

Join the Pharaohs in building one of the most impressive structures the world has ever seen, honoring the ancient Egyptian gods Horus, Ra, Hathor, Bastet, Thoth and Osiris. However, you must be able to carefully manage the balance of your actions as you prepare for the retribution of Maat, the goddess of justice.

The playing field is divided into six parts, each associated with a different Ancient Egyptian god. In the center of the square is an impressive obelisk, Tekhenu , which casts a shadow on different parts of the square, thus dividing it into sunny, shadow, or dark sections, based on where the shadow is at a given moment. As the game progresses, the rotation of the sun affects which parts are sunny, shadowy, or dark.

The game takes place in several rounds, in each of which players choose dice to roll and take actions that are affected by the value of the dice and the section from which it was taken. When choosing dice, you should consider not only its availability, but also its value, as this will affect your chances. Once the die is selected, various actions can be taken, each corresponding to one of the deities, or you can choose to gain resources. Care should be taken when choosing resources so that they are not too many, because greed will not please the gods.

During the game, there will be two scoring phases where players will get points based on the buildings that have been built, the satisfaction level of the citizens and the amount of resources.
