This is an easy-to-learn, fast and witty logic game for two - suitable for different ages and 'weight classes'. The different levels of difficulty offered by the game make it easy enough for school-aged children and difficult enough for demanding mind game fans.
The game consists of a playing field and 16 different wooden figures, each with four characteristics. The player who is the first to create a row of four figures with at least one common feature on the playing field wins.
Because of its clever idea, Quarto has become a favorite game worldwide and has received several national awards: Mensa top five best games in the US, Games magazine's 100 best games in the US, Parents' Choice Award in the US, Toy Testing Council's Best Choice Canada, Consumer Award Quebec, Toy Oscar Paris , Golden Axis Cannes, Selected for Game of the Year Germany, Game of the Year Brussels, Toy Award Benelux Countries, Game of the Year Netherlands, Selected for Game of the Year Italy, De d'or Paris, Game of the Year Finland.
