In Platypus , players work together to phase out the wrong words to find and identify "the platypus" using adjective cards. At the beginning, eight common words or proper nouns - the "duckbill" cards - are placed face up in front of all players. The game leaders know the correct card for the others to guess, and to help, they provide clues in the form of adjective cards that best describe the platypus to them. Each leader has four clue cards, and after each new clue, players must remove one or two cards that they think do not match the clues. If they exclude the platypus, then everyone loses; if you succeed four times, then the platypus will be the last one and everyone will win!
