Catan: Seafarers (Expansion)

Build ships, set sail, and explore new islands in the world of CATAN .

Several diverse scenarios await you. First, you will have to sail to new shores. You will leave Catana, anchor on the nearest islands and gain special victory points every time you build your first settlement on a new island. Then your ships will sail to even more distant and unknown regions, discovering even more distant seas or lands. Soon you will also meet the mystical Forgotten Tribe and try to gain their favor. However, at the same time, the pirates will also become more and more intrusive, so you will have to defend yourself and conquer their lairs. You will also compete for the glory of Catana, trying to build the most grandiose wonders of the world.

The "Seafarers" expansion includes new game tiles that will allow you to create a variety of island combinations, both according to scenarios and by letting your imagination run wild.

There are also ships in all player colors in the game. When you build a new ship, it must be placed next to a sea space, either near a coastal village (city) or another ship, similar to roads.

However, there is one important exception: the location of the first ship in a ship line can be changed! This will allow you to react more flexibly to your opponents' actions and, possibly, become the first to settle on an unexplored island.

Other new additions include golden streams, which allow owners of nearby villages and cities to obtain any resource they choose, as well as pirates, who spread unrest and pose a threat at sea.
