Catan Baltic Championship
„CATAN“ is a popular and well-known game worldwide. Players strive to become the dominant power on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads. Choose strategically correct locations for your settlements to acquire the necessary raw materials, or trade with other players. The game „CATAN“ has won many awards and has become one of the most popular modern games, appealing to both experienced players and those new to the hobby.
The „CATAN“ Baltic Championship is one of the largest championships organized by Brain Games, which will take place for the 7th time in October 2026.
REGISTRATION
Registration is open until September 30th!
Early bird price €15 until July 31st.
Participants must be 14 years old or older to compete in the championship.

If for some reason you are unable to attend the championship, please inform the tournament organizer. Refunds for paid participation are possible until September 27th.
The registration fee must be paid before the event. It will not be possible to pay on-site on the day of the event!

11:30–12:25 participant registration (arriving after the registration time will make participation in the tournament impossible)
12:30–14:10 1st qualification round
14:10–15:00 Lunch
15:05-16:45 2nd qualification round
17:00-18:40 3rd qualification round
SUNDAY,
OCTOBER 4
10:00–10:25 Participant arrival, table assignment
10:30–12:10 4th qualifying round (for players with at least 1 win)
12:25–14:10 Semifinals (TOP16)
14:30 Final & Award Ceremony
CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
The championship will be played according to the official CATAN tournament rules with the changes mentioned in these rules.
RULESDiscussions at the table are permitted only in English. Other languages may be used only if absolutely ALL players at the table agree to it. Conversations in another language between two players will not be allowed and will be considered a rules violation, which may be penalized with disqualification.
GAME SCHEDULE
Qualification
All players will play 3 qualification rounds on Day 1 of the championship.
Players with at least 1 win qualify for Day 2 (4th qualification round)
Final
The semi-final will feature the 16 best players based on the results of 4 games.
The final will be played by the 4 best players — the winners of each semi-final table.
Spectators will be allowed to watch the games but will not be allowed to talk to the players. They will not be allowed to comment on anything happening at the game tables.
