An ancient Japanese skill game with roots similar to chess and a 1,400-year history.

Mikado players represent the Emperor, Princess, Nobles, Samurai, Generals, Soldiers, Spearmen, and Teachers. A game of skill and concentration for two or more players. The object of the game is to move as many sticks as possible from the pile without moving the other sticks.

The player holds the sticks vertically in his hands, then quickly opening his palm, he drops them on a hard and flat surface (for example, a table, floor, etc.). If a stick falls where it is too difficult or too easy to move, they can be picked up again and thrown again. However, the players must agree in advance on how many times one player will be allowed to roll.

Rules: The player tries to take one stick without moving the others, if he succeeds, he may take the next one. If the sticks move, the player takes it and gives the next player a chance to try their luck. Sticks can be removed from the pile using your fingers. Push down one end of the stick, or using the MIKADO stick (with the spiral) and the MANDARIN stick (with the yellow circle in the middle), which you try to pull out of the stack first. Players may stand up, but may not approach the pile from any side other than their own. When there are no sticks left in the pile, each player adds up their points. The player with the most points is the winner.
