"Kubb" is a popular outdoor game. Its purpose is to knock down wooden blocks by throwing wooden sticks.
In the simplest terms , "Kubb" can be described as a combination of bowling and horseshoe throwing games. The modern version of this game originated on the island of Gotland, Sweden. " Kubb" can be played on different surfaces - sand, asphalt, grass and ice. The rules of the game may vary from country to country, but the main goal of the game is to be the first to "knock down" the "king". Combining this with the fact that the game also has its own level of strategy, many players and Kubb fans refer to this game as Viking Chess.
