Imperial Miners

Imperial Miners is a light-hearted strategy card game for 1 to 5 players from designer Tim Armstrong (Arcana Rising, Orbis) in which players build mines using a card activation system. Set in the popular Imperial Settlers world, this standalone game features beautiful illustrations, easy-to-understand rules, and exciting gameplay full of chain reactions and card combos.

In Imperial Miners, players build their mines by playing cards on their personal tableau. They start at the surface and progress downwards. Each time a card is added to their mine, it activates and activates all the cards above it, rewarding the player with interesting chain reactions and combinations. The cards belong to six different teams and offer different strategies. Players mix different teams in their mine to achieve the best results.

As players develop their mines, they also advance through progression boards. During game setup, three of the six available progression boards are randomly selected for play. Each of these boards offers a different strategic focus. Throughout the game, players advance to earn additional bonuses that help them build their mines, activate effects between cards, gain victory points, and achieve even more enjoyable combinations. The combination of progression boards influences strategies and makes the game different every time you play.

Imperial Miners offers impressive replayability thanks to its wide variety of maps and modular progression panels. Players also take turns simultaneously, so the game is fast-paced and takes no more than 45 minutes to complete. The simple rules, beautiful artwork, and rewarding strategic mechanics make the game a great game for both casual and experienced players.
