Players perform their moves simultaneously - each player attacks the player on the left and defends against the player on the right. During a turn, everyone rolls four dice at the same time, then each player places one of their four cards face down in front of them. In any order you want, players reveal these cards by paying their cost using certain numbers on the dice, the sum of the dice, veil stones, or a combination of the above. Die 1 can be any number you want, while unused 6s can be spent to get veil stones.

Spells provide one-time effects while Creatures are in front of you, and some of them provide one-time "come into play" abilities in addition to potential attack and defense values ​​and sacrifice abilities. After all cards have been played, players score injuries by comparing their attack value to the target's defense. You then discard any cards you don't want and then fill your hand up to four cards.

When one player is out, everyone in the game continues to take damage from that player each turn to speed up the game.
