Dominion: Alchemy is an expansion of the board game Dominion .

Strange things are happening in your basement labs. They keep asking for more barrels of quicksilver or bits of hair. All this is, of course, in the name of progress. They are looking for a way to turn lead into gold, or at least something better than lead. This lead had simply been too good a deal to pass up; you didn't think where to put it all and what I'm going to do with all that lead anyway. It will all be resolved soon. They are also looking for a universal solvent. If they succeed, you will take everything they use to hold it and build a castle out of it. A castle that cannot be dissolved! That's progress.
