CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
Games are played according to the official "6. Take!" championship rules.
Secretary
Before the game begins, the players agree who will act as the secretary. If the players cannot agree, the Secretary is the player who is last on the list at the table.
The secretary is responsible for dealing the cards for each round and recording the results. The secretary ensures that all cards are correctly added to the rows. The secretary ensures that all players have played their face-down cards and gives the signal to reveal them simultaneously.
Players' responsibilities
Each player must confirm that they have been dealt 10 cards at the start of the round. If it is discovered during the game that a player has too few or too many cards, that player receives a penalty (not the Secretary who dealt the cards).
Too many cards
The player receives a penalty and another player randomly draws cards until the appropriate number of cards is reached.
Too few cards
The player receives a penalty and another player randomly draws cards from the remaining deck until the appropriate card limit is reached.
Throughout the game, players should be clear about which cards are in their hands and which are in the discard pile. Players are recommended to keep their hand cards in their hands throughout the game.
End of round and game:
At the end of each round and game, the bulls are counted and recorded on the game scorecard by the Secretary. The results are announced at the end of each round.
The game ends after three rounds. The player with the fewest bulls is the winner; the other players are ranked in ascending order of points.
If several players get the same number of points, they share the place.
After three games, the top 6 players advance to the final. The winner of the final becomes the Latvian champion.
If several players receive the same score in the final, then the player who received the fewest points in the three qualifying games takes the higher place.
Penalty points:
All players can receive the following penalty points:
- 15 penalty points if a player shows the cards he has in his hand
- 10 penalty points if the Secretary intentionally records incorrect results
- 10 penalty points if a player is less than 5 minutes late for the start of the game.
- 20 penalty points if a player is more than 5 minutes late for the start of the game
- 30 penalty points if a player is more than 10 minutes late or misses a round. Repeated lateness may result in disqualification from the championship.
Rating:
Players are ranked based on the following parameters in order of importance:- Number of points (the fewer points, the better)
- Places won in the round (the higher the places, the better)
