"The Zone" is an adventure board game for 1-4 players. To win the game, the player must reach the sarcophagus of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant before other players.

The sarcophagus only opens if the player has previously collected 2 secrets from underground objects. Players need to hurry as the game has a time limit. When the Final Bang happens, all is lost…

Each turn, players take 2 actions (move, explore, fight, etc.) and then each read an event card that contains a brief description of the adventure. At the end of the turn, the first player draws a News card and resolves it.
