Sovereign's Chain is a strategic, subtle card game.
You can play cards in your chain or your opponent's chain. While most cards are played face up to activate their abilities, some can also be played face down to activate them later. There are two types of class cards - stars and planets - and to win you need to have the highest point difference between these two types when a chain reaches seven cards. To add extra complexity to the game, it includes a small cache of event cards with unique effects that completely change the game.
