Sub Terra Core Game

"Sub Terra" is a cooperative game for 1–6 players, dedicated to a terrifying escape from caves. Players take on the role of amateur cavers, trying to escape an unexplored network of underground tunnels before the lights go out or they are caught by the darkest creatures that live beneath the earth.

In "Sub Terra", players explore the surrounding tunnel system on their turn, trying to survive various dangers lurking in the cave – such as floods, gas leaks, and rockfalls. Each player has a role that gives special abilities, for example, an engineer with dynamite can blow up cave walls and create a new path, while a scout can more easily find the right way.

New cave cards are placed from a randomly ordered stack of cave elements, which determines whether you will hit a dead end or new opportunities will open up.

At the end of each turn, players assess their situation by drawing a hazard card – it determines what dangers inflict injuries on them or separate them from the horrors below.

These cards are limited in number, and when they run out, your torches begin to flicker, air becomes increasingly scarce, and your chances of survival rapidly dwindle.
