The box contains levers marked with numbers from 1 to 12. Initially, the levers are in a vertical position. The first player rolls 2 dice and flips the dice in this way - a number made up of two rolled numbers or 2 numbers that add up to the total of the rolled dice.
This is done until there are no more dice to roll over. Points are scored by adding up the numbers on the dice that were not rolled.
The dice are picked up again and the box is passed to the next player who rolls the dice in exactly the same way and scores points accordingly.
Many different ways of scoring and determining the winner are available. For example, if a player succeeds in flipping all the dice during his game, he automatically wins.
