Saboteur: The Dark Cave

“Saboteur — The Dark Cave” is a new standalone game in the “Saboteur” theme, which retains the classic “Saboteur” atmosphere while offering new and exciting elements, such as clans and monsters.

Players are divided into two teams, but in each team, as you might have guessed, there is a saboteur. During the game, players compete to escape a collapsing cave with as much gold as possible for their team, but — who is the saboteur? Maybe you?

“Saboteur — The Dark Cave” is a standalone game that recreates the atmosphere of “Saboteur”. At the beginning of the game, each player is assigned to a clan, but they might be playing the role of a saboteur within that clan. Starting with the mine card in the middle of the table, players take turns placing path cards to build a path from the mine to four cards in the outer corners, only one of which is an exit. In addition to building paths, players play cards to gain equipment, place monsters in front of others, reveal their clan members, and discover the locations of exits before building paths. As soon as a player exits the mine, they reveal their identity, adding all the gold they have collected to their clan's total earnings.
