In Risk Godstorm, players are priests who want to lead their people (Greeks, Celts, Babylonians, Norsemen, and Egyptians) to power in the ancient world and the underworld. To do this, they will need to join forces, conquer continents, obtain powerful relics, and call upon their gods for help.
Risk Godstorm takes the core elements of the classic Risk, but changes many other aspects. The game takes place on an ancient world map, focusing on Europe and North Africa. Atlantis is also included, but a chaotic event could cause the legendary city to sink into oblivion, taking with it all the troops there. The game is based on players trying to control territories, and by controlling entire continents, players gain bonus units that can be used to further their goals.
