Values serve as the basis for our major life decisions, influencing our goals and personal needs. But values, goals and needs are not just individual - they also apply to nations, larger groups of people and organizations, and small groups. They can both bring us closer and alienate us.
Both a person and an organization that has not understood themselves, their values, motivations and needs will be like a ship without a compass and rudder, which can be easily influenced. Only by deeply understanding and getting to know ourselves are we able to respect the path of others, to accept what is different and what is common.
Setting and understanding goals allows you to gain more control over your life, both in the short and long term. People with shared goals and values find it much easier to collaborate and work together more productively.
