King's Dilemma
The leaders join the king's council to vote on matters of the kingdom, but with ulterior motives!
The King's Dilemma is an interactive story-type game with elements of legacy board games, collecting several stories that can end in different ways depending on the choices made. Players each represent their own influential family that runs the government in the kingdom of Ankist.
In each round you will draw one card from the "Dilemma deck" and play out the story of the game and experience how it unfolds. Each card presents a problem for the Council to solve and your decisions determine the direction of the story and the fate of the kingdom. Each event happens only once: you discuss and bargain with other players, then you make a choice, knowing the result players will advance the story of the game and possibly discover more new events. You have to maintain the kingdom while also seeking benefits for your family. This struggle for power can lead to war, famine or riots in the kingdom, or it can bring wealth and prosperity. It will depend on your choice! The point is that every decision has consequences and what is good for the kingdom and the kingdom as a whole can be very bad for your family.
