Frosthaven is the story of a small outpost far north of the capital city of Vytosol, an outpost that has barely survived the harsh weather and invasions of forces known and unknown. There, a group of mercenaries at the end of their rope will help bring this settlement back from the brink of destruction. In addition to the harsh elements, they will have to contend with other, more dangerous threats in the unforgiving cold. Attacking from the mountains are the Algoks, the larger, more yeti-like cousins of the Inox; Lurkers pour in from the northern sea; and rumors of machines roaming the frozen nowhere of their own accord. The mercenary party must face all of these dangers and, in doing so, perhaps make peace with these new races so that they can work together against even more evil forces.
