Cockroach Soup
We get together and cook soup, but we don't always say what we put in the pot!
Together, the players cook a soup of leeks, peppers, carrots and mushrooms, but someone may get their hands on a cockroach, which must be thrown into the soup.
The game has 112 vegetable cards and 16 forbidden cards that have vegetables with cockroaches on them. The cards are shuffled and dealt among the players. During his turn, the player takes the top card from his pile and places it face up in the middle of the table, naming the vegetable depicted on the card.
The player does not have to call the vegetable that is on the card if:
- If the vegetable on the card matches the one placed or named by the previous player. Then you have to lie and name another vegetable.
- If a player plays a card in which a cockroach slurps soup from a spoon. Then the player must also scramble. The next player plays their card into a new pile so that the cockroach card remains visible.
- If a player's card represents a vegetable that matches the vegetable on the visible cockroach card. Then the player must snort, but if the player immediately before him snorts, then he must say ''Mmmm''.
If someone makes a mistake or thinks too long, they must pick up all the cards they have been exposed and add them to their deck. The player who gets rid of their cards first wins.
