Cockroach Poker
Bluff and make your opponents collect cockroaches, rats and beetles!
A reverse collecting game that has nothing to do with poker except that you will have to bluff!
During their turn, the player takes one card from their hand and places it face down on the table, giving it to any player of their choice, and says one of 8 possible creature names (they can be honest and say what is really hidden on the card, or lie and name another animal).
The player who receives the card acts in one of two ways.
- Makes a statement about whether the player who gave the card told the truth or lied. The card is then revealed. If the statement was false, that player keeps the card in front of them on the table. If the statement was true, the player who gave the card keeps it in front of them.
- He looks at the card he is given and passes it to another player, naming either the same animal as the previous player or a different one. This can only be done if there is at least one other player left who has not seen the card.
The player who loses puts a card in front of him/herself. The game ends when one of the players has put 4 cards of the same animal in front of him/herself or when one of the players has no more cards to give to someone else. This player accordingly loses the game, the others win.
