A pact with the devil

Deal with the Devil is a deeply themed competitive strategy game for four players set in a medieval fantasy era. Each of the players takes on the secret role of a mortal, a cult, or even a devil. Due to the asymmetric roles, players experience the same game but with different game objectives in each game.

During the blind trading phase, players can offer their resources in exchange for money from another player. The devil will tempt mortals with possessions for a piece of their soul, while the cultist's nature is to sell his soul easily. Only the accompanying app knows who is trading with what.

But beware! Showing off how good you are can attract unwanted attention and suspicion from other players. It may also be of interest to the Inquisition, which wants to punish those who cannot prove that their souls remain intact.

Each game has many dynamic strategies to experiment with. Will you sell pieces of your soul early to increase your city-building abilities, risking the punishment of the Inquisition in the future? Or will you carefully manage your credit and debt repayments, waiting for others to inadvertently discover your nefarious nature? Every choice has consequences, and every role has its own unique strategic approach to explore.
