7 Wonders

The second edition of the popular board game, with improved rules and mechanics. You are the head of a city in one of the seven cities of the Ancient World. Collect raw materials, develop trade routes and prove your military superiority. Build your city and build an architectural marvel that will last through the ages.

The game "7 Wonders" lasts for 3 eras-stages. In each era, the player receives 7 cards from a certain pile. Choose one of the cards, and pass the rest to the player next to you. Players reveal their acquired cards at the same time, either by paying for raw materials, by receiving raw materials, or by communicating with other players about various things. (Each player has their own playing field with special abilities to lay out their cards on.) Each player then chooses the next card from the pile they were dealt. And so everyone has 6 cards.

Basically, 7 Wonders is a card development game. Some cards have an immediate effect, while others provide benefits later in the game. Other cards grant discounts on future purchases, others military superiority over neighboring cities, and still others give victory points in the finals.

Each card is played immediately after it is drawn from the pile. In each era, the cards will be dealt to a different side (right, left and then right again) - so watch out for competitors on both sides.
