Legacy of Yu
During the reign of Emperor Yao, the people of ancient China were constantly plagued by deadly floods along the Yellow River. Wanting to end the devastation, Yao chose one of his officials, Gong, to devise a plan. After nine failed attempts to use dams and levees, Gong was dismissed from his post. After his father's death, Yu took over his father's work. Learning from Gong's failures, Yu began a series of canals to divert the fast-flowing river to nearby fields and smaller waterways.
Legacy of Yu is a single-player , fully replayable, non-linear campaign that puts you in the role of the legendary hero of the Xia Dynasty, the Great Yu. Your task will be to build canals before the impending flood, while protecting your growing village from neighboring barbarian tribes. Each game will reveal different stories and add new gameplay elements. The campaign features a self-balancing system that adapts to your performance. The campaign ends when you win or lose seven games.
