What's on the store shelf? Games for children!

What to choose when buying gifts for children? Every child has their own interests and abilities, so choosing the right gift can often be a challenging task. To make it easier, here are our five suggestions to make the gift for the child as much fun as possible.

1. ICECOOL

The best board game for children of 2017 will be a great gift in 2018 as well. It is an exciting board game for family, parties and celebrations. The first "pinju" game in the world, in which figures can both twist and jump, as well as the unique "box in a box" design, gives you the opportunity to create a substantial playing field from what appears to be a single box. Players take on the roles of catchers and pranksters to catch each other, collect fish, jump over walls and get the most points. In each round, one of the players becomes the attendant (catcher) and his goal is to catch the other penguins (pranksters) who are running around trying to collect the fish hanging on the door. Players can get points both by catching others and by collecting fish. The round ends when the catcher has caught all the pranksters or one of the pranksters has collected all three fish of their color. The game ends when each player has taken the role of catcher once, and the player with the most points is the winner. The game appeals to both children and adults, making it a great family game as well as a competitive game.

2. Pyramid of Pengqueen

The famous ICECOOL penguins have gone on an excursion during the school holidays and ended up in the tomb of the penguin queen. The students want to collect all the treasures they need, but one player will be a mummy whose goal is to catch the troublemakers. Thanks to the game's innovative design, the students always see where the mummy is, but the mummy never knows where the students are. However, when one of the adventurers is ready to take any treasure, it must be shown to the mummy, so it immediately knows exactly where the student is. A very fun and simple family game in which there is a continuous hunt - the mummy tries hard to track the movements of the students and protect the treasures, while the penguins try to be quite clever to avoid being caught by the monster. The task of the treasure hunters is already not easy, but the mummy can also steal the dice thrown at them, which will limit the movements. With the pyramid, exciting family evenings are guaranteed!

3. Yoo-Hoo!

A beautiful and easy game with a folding elephant for the youngest players. Let's be gnomes and happily play in the garden, sliding down the elephant's trunk and collecting the toys left behind. The winner is the gnome who has been the most successful and has collected the most toys. This game teaches children to count, trains the ability to make tactical decisions, helps them understand situations where they have to face obstacles, and also motivates them to achieve their goal. By rolling a dice, players climb the steps of the slide until they reach the top and then slide down to get the toys before the others do. When the toys in the sandbox run out, everyone counts how many they managed to collect during the game, and the gnome with the most toys wins.

4. Forests of children's minds

Brain teasers for children of different ages can also be a great gift. In the Tangram Kids box, you will find 7 wooden figures and 50 silhouettes, which you will have to assemble using all the figures. Children will surely be able to rack their brains trying to rotate the blocks in the right places. The Rubik's cube has long become a classic brain puzzle, but for younger children, the 2x2 version of the cube could be suitable, which is easier than the classic, but at the same time with a good dose of challenge. Various puzzles will promote visual perception - the size of their pieces is adjusted so that children of all ages, even the smallest ones, can assemble the picture without difficulty. Puzzles are a very good exercise for the mind and visual perception - especially if it is one of the educational puzzles that teach children such as counting, colors, shapes, etc.

5. Constructors

For technical minds, magnetic constructors "SmartMax" for younger and "GeoSmart" for older children will serve as a great gift. They will put children's imagination and spatial thinking to work to create different figures or even a space station. Kits can be combined and mixed together to create truly impressive builds. And it all connects with the help of magnets! No additional tools are needed - all the parts will easily fit together by themselves. An excellent example of how you can create something big and impressive from smaller geometric figures - even a pipe system to see if the ball will manage to roll to the end.
