Build mountains and erect sacred monuments in your pursuit of wisdom and knowledge.

Oros is a game of tile-clashing, volcanic eruptions, mountain-building, wisdom-gathering, action, and economic strategy. On individual player spaces, players move their followers between action spaces, allowing them to manipulate the shared environment like a giant plate tectonics puzzle. Action spaces allow players to move rows of land, move and collide land plates, form and erupt volcanoes, worship for wisdom, travel with their followers across an ever-changing landscape, and build mountains of sacred structures and places of worship. Building sanctuaries and worshiping at sanctuaries grants wisdom, which is used to enhance the abilities available in each arena. Wisdom is also used to improve the endgame value of each shrine you build, as well as to achieve other endgame points worth of objectives.

When building sanctuaries, the Sage's demigods climb a ziggurat, which acts as a timer at the end of the game. When one of them reaches the top, the players complete the round and then tally up the points.
