CLICK! Regulations of the Latvian Championship

THE 2020 KLASK LATVIA CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD FROM FEBRUARY 21 TO JUNE 27 IN RIGA.

This year, the Latvian Klask Championship will be held for the first time! Four selection rounds are held, in which participants will be able to participate, of which the best 4 will advance. In the final, the best 16 will fight for the Latvian Klask champion! Don't delay and apply now!

The tournament is organized by Brain Games in cooperation with the Fashion and Entertainment Center "Rīga Plaza".

PRIZE FUND

In the qualification rounds:

• the winner will receive a €30 gift card from Rīga Plaza and a €30 gift card from Brain Games;
• the second place winner a €20 gift card from Rīga Plaza and a €20 gift card from Brain Games;
• the third place winner a €10 gift card from Rīga Plaza and a €10 gift card from Brain Games.

The winner of the final gets a fully paid membership to KLASK! at the world championship in Finland. The rest of the prize pool will still be specified.

The organizers reserve the opportunity to increase the prize pool with prizes provided by supporters.

APPLICATION

Each participant may participate in all selection rounds until he has won a ticket to the finals in one of the qualifications.

You can apply by filling out the form here https://ej.uz/KLASK_registracia or by writing an e-mail to rigaplaza@brain-games.com with your name, phone number and the date of the selection round. Registration closes 30 minutes before the start of each stage.

Participation in the event is free.

PROGRESS OF THE EVENT

The selection tournament for the final is divided into 4 parts. The maximum number of participants in each selection tournament is 48 people, of which the best 4 will go to the final round.

The total duration of the event is expected to be 2 hours. In the case of a larger number of participants, the tournament may drag on, and in the case of fewer people, the tournament may end sooner.

Registration of participants takes place until 17:15 and after that it will not be possible to register for the tournament.

ORDER OF PLAY

SUB-GROUPS

All participants are divided into subgroups. Subgroups have the same or similar number of participants from 3 to 6 participants. Everyone plays one game with a member of their subgroup. The two best players in the sub-group continue to fight in the finals. For the rest, the tournament is over. Ranking criteria:

1. Number of wins;
2. Gate ratio;
3. Mutual game or games.

In case of a draw, a replay takes place.

THE FINAL

In the final, a branch is played. All rounds until the semi-finals are played one game and the winner plays in the next round. Starting from the semi-finals, there is a fight until two wins. The player, where the sum of three games has two wins, participates in the finals. The final lasts up to 3 wins.
