Our TOP5 outdoor games

Kubb
Number of players: 2+
Duration: from 5 min to 60+
Kubb originates from Viking times in Scandinavia, so it is often referred to as "Viking chess". In the game, everyone divides into two teams and, by throwing wooden sticks, tries to topple all the opponent's knights. In the middle of the square is the king, which must be knocked down last - only if the team has knocked down all the knights. If the king is knocked down before then, the team is immediately awarded a loss. But it's not just stick throwing, as it includes its own level of strategy. You have to be accurate enough to topple everyone, but careful enough not to topple the king prematurely or give your opponents too easy a move.

Number Kubb
Number of players: 2+
Duration: ~20min, depends on the number of players
Number Kubb is a derivative of the Kubb game, where you also have to throw a wooden stick, only this time at different numbers. In addition, everyone plays individually, trying to accumulate the exact number of points. If you roll only one die, you get as many points as indicated on the die. If you flip more than one, you get as many points as the number of dice that were flipped. The game must be completed with the exact number of points, but if it happens to get more, the player will "burn" and fall to half the required number of points. In order to win, you will also need both accuracy and strategy - is it better to aim for the dice with the number 3, or to knock down 3 dice?

Spikeball
Number of players: 2 or 4
Duration: 15 min
Spikeball, also called Roundnet, is a game in which players try to hit the ball into a round net in such a way that the opposing team cannot pick up the ball after the bounce. In short - Spikeball is a combination of beach volleyball and table tennis. During the game, you have to run all around the net placed on the ground, playing with each other and trying to win every ball sent by the opponent. Can be played on a softer surface, as you will often have to dive for particularly low balls in the heat of the game. Sharp feelings and intense gameplay are guaranteed!

Croquet
Number of players: 2+
Duration: 20 min
Crockett is first mentioned in historical sources in 1856 in London. In croquet, the task of the players is to send the ball with hammers through the playing track, which is laid out with the help of a goal. Similar to golf, the player who completes the course with the fewest number of strokes will win. The course can be made to your heart's content and if you play on different surfaces, the course of the game will also be quite different, so croquet offers countless variations.

Spin Ladder
Number of players: 2+
Duration: 20 min
Spin Ladder is a fairly simple but quite challenging outdoor game. In this game, the goal of the players is to score 21 points by throwing balls connected by a string up a wooden "ladder" so that they land on one of the three crossbars. The lower you send the balls, the more points you get! If you miss or miss the balls, no points will be scored. The most accurate wins, of course.
