The top of the best-selling games of the past year included well-known game classics, but hot new releases were also popular.

In 2021, the prestigious "Spiel des Jahres" award was won by "MicroMacro: Crime City". It's a game where the exciting Where's Wally? idea combined with detective motif. "MicroMacro: City of Crime" localized in Latvian can already be found on the shelves of Brain Games. The game features 16 crimes, all displayed simultaneously on a large map with countless details. The game "Winged" landed in the ninth place of the top. It is a game with delightful visuals and exciting game mechanics, and the rich variety of birds will make each game unique. Despite the fact that the game appeared in stores only in the second half of the year, it has been one of the favorites in Brain Games stores.

8th place

One of the favorite little games is “6. take!” . And not for nothing! The game is fast, simple and fun, and can be played with almost anyone.

7th place

Despite various gathering restrictions, one of the most awarded party games "Codenames" and "Codenames: Pictures" is in the seventh place of the chart. In it, players are divided into two teams, the captain of each team tries to connect as many necessary words as possible with the help of various associations. As usual in recent years, the most popular small card game was "Saboteur" , which is the third best-selling game this year. In it, players are secretly given one of two roles - dwarves or saboteurs. The dwarves, being diligent workers, try to find the gold hidden in the underground tunnels together, but the saboteurs do the opposite - to ensure that the gold remains buried. An excellent game for larger companies.

2nd place

"Exit: Abandoned hut" / "Exit: Secret laboratory" ranks second in our top.
